Lars Beller Fjetland is in charge of art direction, concept development and strategy for the R100 exhibition. Combining extensive knowledge and a far-reaching network in the design world, Lars brings methodical design leadership and experience from 10+ years of working closely with some of the top brands and manufacturers in furniture. Always working from the intrinsic qualities of material and manufacturing as his starting point, few designers today hold a deeper understanding of both. Lars was also Art Director for the 2024 Hydro exhibition "100R" at Capsule Plaza for Milan Design Week.

Following the success of their 2024 exhibition 100R at Milan Design Week, Hydro returns to Capsule Plaza with yet another ambitious project. After launching Hydro CIRCAL 100R – the world’s first industrial-scale aluminium made entirely from post-consumer scrap last year – the company shifts its attention to transportation emissions for 2025. With R100, Hydro challenges itself to bring to life five groundbreaking designs within a self-imposed limit of a 100 km radius – from locally sourced post-consumer scrap to finished design objects.
